London. The swinging city, with its fascinating history, its romantic parks, its beautiful surroungings, its cosmopolitan people, its unique style of life, its original traditions, its language as the sign of a global race. Which of all the cities in the world could say more than London’s appeal does convey?

London is a mandatory destination for all those who follow their heart and soul in search for everlasting emotions. London is one of the few places in the world where varieties blend into a cohesive whole, due to that peculiar brand of “englishness” that dates back to the Elizabethan age and that works probably as a powerful aggregating force.

London is best seen from a bird’s eye perspective, in order to get an idea of that large territory we call the “Greater London”: its growth and development, along the Thames, follow the river’s course from Hampton Court, and Richmond Hill towards the farthest point east, namely the Thames Flood Barrier that protects London from the Atlantic Floods. To mark its way, we count 33 bridges, eight of which are the most famous and each one very close the other, in the centre of the City.
